ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIFE CHURCH

David Hawley was a founder of the Lake Geneva chapter of the Full Gospel Businessman Fellowship, International and was elected the first president. Invitations to speak at other chapter meetings and leadership conferences throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana began to inundate David. He realized that God had given him a ministry for which he was grateful.
Seven years later, God called him to establish a church. Christian Life Center (as it was known then) held its first service December 28, 1980 in the Hawley home at 965 E. Racine St, Delavan WI, the present day parsonage. There were 35 people present. Six years later, the church moved to the Delavan House Hotel. After two years, through faith, prayer, and sacrificial giving, a new facility was built at the comer of Highway 11 and County F, Delavan. The first service held in the new building was on Palm Sunday 1989. The building was dedicated on May 21, 1989 With the move into the new building the name, Christian Life Center, was changed to Christian Life Church.
